A highly rewarding multidisciplinary pun.
The final hours of the work week pass faster with Gifaanisqatsi. This project is essentially a highly rewarding, multidisciplinary, inter-sensory pun that that sets a random selection of gifs tagged "slow motion" on Giphy to the sound to the trailer from the 1983 (or 1982? not sure) documentary Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out of Balance. The film itself is peculiar, a strange montage of all of human life on earth directed by Godfrey Reggio and scored by Philip Glass. This is new to The Stopgap, not new. Rico Monkeon committed this visionary act in 2020. But it's still a real achievement in high-dividend jokes and technically ever-renewing.
