Proposed: Counter-Halloween

Presumably, if Halloween is the day each year when "the veil between the worlds is thinnest," there must exist somewhere in the calendar its opposite: a day when the veil between the worlds is at its thickest.
While we can only speculate which day this might be (March 4th is a strong contender), we can certainly hazard a few guesses as to the spiritual nature of Counter-Halloween:
- The all-pervasive Great Mystery is as far from our perception as it is possible to get
- Everyday illusions remain strong and powerful
- Curtains remain tightly closed
- Least magical night of the year
- Impossible to get a hold of even the very recently dead
- No transitions between seasons
- Constant change is given a miss
- Nobody is one with anything
- Numbers are whatever
- Time is barely sacred
- Dream guides offer no advice
- Transformational experiences basically impossible
- Ditto rejuvenation
- Never-ending struggle between life and death declared a tie
- The spirit realm keeps a polite distance
- The finite and the infinite do not meet
- Animal behavior seems pretty regular
- The circle of the year is on an unremarkable spoke
- Food and drink serve no special ritual purpose
- Sidhe otherwise engaged
- Liminal world indistinguishable from mundane world
- Moon is basically useless
